You can install a WordPress plugin by going to Plugins > Add New on your WordPress dashboard.
There are two methods for installation: the first is by installing the plugin from your WordPress dashboard, and and the second is by uploading the plugin files from your local computer.
Here is how to install a plugin in WordPress:
- First, log in to WordPress
- Go to Plugins > Add New
- Choose the instructions below depending on how you plan to install your plugin.
From WordPress
- In the search bar, enter the name or type of plugin you want on your website.
- Click Install Now for the plugin you want.
From Your Local Computer
- Click Upload Plugin > Browse, or Choose File, and find your plugin’s files.
Note: The files should be in a zip (.zip) file.
- Then click Install Now.
