The bleed is the part of the document that will be trimmed off when the document is printed and cut to size. The margin is the area around the edge of the document that will not be printed.
Generally, it is best to have a minimum of 3mm bleed and 3mm margins. This will ensure that there is enough room for error when cutting and printing and that your design will not be too close to the edge of the document.
